    It certainly was a surprising twist! Just at the point where I was thinking they should have ended the ad, they went in quite the unexpected direction.

    The message is well taken….not sure what the impact is on their brand, however.

    I imagine the brand is “IQ,” and their message warns the community about the ravages of alcoholism. I think the impact is breaking through the clutter and getting the “preachy” message through in a way that resonates when the audience’s defenses are down.
